🙌 PETER SAMIOTES started at Independent in October 2022 as an Inside Sales Representative in Somerville, MA. He grew up in Westwood, MA, attended Westwood High School, and went to Bentley College. Before joining IPS, he was a car salesman for ten years, doing outside sales for Terminix and American Sleep Therapy.
Peter is not just a member of our team; he’s an invaluable asset; his brilliant, hard-working efforts have helped us grow with customer demand efficiently. He is a massive part of the future of the Somerville Branch and is well-liked and respected by his coworkers and our customers.
Peter stated, “My new role as Assistant Branch Manager is exciting for many reasons, such as working with management and maintaining a strong relationship with our union employees. I am grateful to be a part of growing Branch 8 in sales, customer service, and inventory management.”
Peter lives in the North end of Boston, and his parents live in Cape Cod in the summers and Fort Myers, Florida, in the winters. He has two sisters who live near Cape Cod and has three nephews and two nieces with whom he loves hanging around. Outside of work, Peter’s biggest passion is playing the guitar; he also plays the drums and harmonica. Music is his number one hobby, as he likes to go to concerts in the city. He also enjoys watching sports and going to the beach as much as possible. He loves living in the North End of Boston, providing many great dining options and cafes.
