Matt Camara started his career as a Purchasing Agent in August 2024 at Independent Pipe headquarters in Canton, MA. Before joining Independent Pipe, he worked at Sager Electronics in Middleborough, MA, for 11 years, where he served as a receiving lead, buyer/planner, and product manager.
“Matt has been a great addition to the purchasing team. He’s reliable, consistent, and always ready to support the day-to-day needs of the department,” said Allison Frank, the Process Optimization and Inventory Control Manager.
Matt shares, “It has been incredibly rewarding to learn and grow with IP&S. I’m excited to continue my journey here and also eager to begin Supply Chain Management courses this Fall focusing on developing more efficient and effective processes.”
Matt grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and attended Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School. He lives in New Bedford, MA, with his wife Allyson, their two cats, and a dog. Outside of work, Matt enjoys running, having taken part in 5K races and half marathons, as well as reading, rollerblading, and hiking with his wife and dog.
